Olivier Masselot

People first, method second.

Some people talk about transformation because they've read about it in books. I've lived through it. Several times. Through pain, through silence, and sometimes at death's door.

What I share with you today — about the brain, adaptation, emotions, and leadership — is not a theory.

It's the result of decades of experiences, encounters, mistakes, and one question that never left me:

Why do some people collapse under pressure,
while others come alive in it?

My Journey

A first life: learning to listen

I began my adult life in Parisian recording studios. For 15 years, I worked with sound, voices, and silence. Without realizing it, I was learning to decode people — their tensions, their fears, what they say and what they hide.

That's where I understood that communication is 80% emotional and 20% words.

The experiences that changed everything

At 4, an accident. A near-death experience whose meaning I wouldn't understand until much later.

At 22, a second NDE — and this time, a deep realization: I wasn't here by chance, and my life had a purpose I hadn't yet found.

These experiences didn't make me mystical. They made me curious — about life, about the brain, about what makes a human being rise or fall.

The first key: NLP

At 23, I discovered NLP. A door opened. I understood that our behaviors are not our destiny — they're programs, and programs can be rewritten. This was the beginning of a long quest to understand how we really function.

The trial that accelerated everything

At 47, the ground gave way. Leukemia. Everything I had learned about resilience, I now had to live from the inside — stripped bare, without a safety net.

Paradoxically, this was the most powerful catalyst of my professional life. As soon as I recovered, I trained as a coach — because I now knew, in my bones, what it costs to go through a crisis without the right tools.

Neuroscience, then Transurfing: the missing pieces

At 48, I trained in applied neuroscience — the Neurocognitive and Behavioral Approach (ANC) developed by Dr. Jacques Fradin. Everything I had lived through and intuitively understood finally found a scientific framework. Neuroscience became my compass.

At 49, Tanya Sakovich offered me the opportunity to translate and represent Transurfing throughout the French-speaking world. I wasn't expecting to discover a model based on quantum mechanics that would so powerfully reconnect the puzzle of how we create our reality — consciously or unconsciously.

I recognized everything I had been able to deduce from my near-death experiences. Like an obvious truth that gently settled into my life to light the way.

From that point on, everything began to crystallize. From NLP to neuroscience, from Transurfing to my hands-on coaching experience — I started creating my own tools and my own approaches.

The R.E.A.L. Profile: the synthesis of everything

The R.E.A.L. Process is the culmination of this journey. It's not just another tool — it's the synthesis of everything I've lived through, learned, tested, and refined over the years.

It measures your adaptive intelligence across 24 key competencies, reveals your strengths and blind spots, and charts a concrete path out of autopilot mode. It's the tool I wish I'd had at 47, lying in that hospital bed.

Since then, the principles of Vadim Zeland have informed all my work — primarily to help my clients realign with their deeper identity. Thank you, Vadim, and thank you, Tanya, for this invaluable gift.

Today

Father of 4 children, I continue to develop the Neurosensory Approach and the Neurosystemic Approach — two complementary tools for transforming individuals and organizations from within.

I run the Neurosensorial Institute, train coaches, work with executives, write, and speak at conferences. Not to be right — but to be useful.

What I believe, at the core

I believe that every human being already carries within them the resources they need.

Not outside — not in others' validation, not in results, not in titles.

Inside!

My role is not to give you answers. It's to help you access the ones you already have — but that stress, fear, or old beliefs are preventing you from hearing.

I also believe that organizations cannot be healthy if the people within them are not.

True leadership doesn't begin with a strategy.
It begins with self-awareness.

My Approaches

To drive transformation, I work on two levels.

The Individual: Their needs, what motivates them, self-understanding and self-mastery, reading others, interacting with difficult personalities, managing stress and uncertainty, making sound decisions.

The Organization: The meta-rules and 4 essential axioms, collective intelligence, a clear purpose that gives meaning to every role, optimal delegation, transparency, and genuine clarity about the processes at play.

One without the other isn't enough.
A fulfilled individual in a dysfunctional organization suffers.
A well-structured organization full of exhausted people runs out of steam.
Change only happens when both work together.

4 Levers of Transformation

Individual lever

Learn to observe your own reactions and regain control of yourself, even under pressure

Relational lever

Develop the art of building genuine connection with others — even when the situation is tense.

Managerial lever

Adopt the postures of a leader-coach to decide more effectively, truly delegate, and help your team grow.

Organizational lever

Build a company where every role has meaning, decisions flow freely, and people thrive.
